- An exploit has been uncovered that enables players to kill the second boss in Tempest Keep, Voidreaver, in a very short amount of time - about 1 minute.
The exploit was discovered during a raid to Tempest Keep, when a priest mind controlled a Tempest Smith. The smiths have a bombing ability with no cool-down, and when used against Voidreaver, this ability causes huge damage. One of the members of the raid published a picture of the downed boss, showing the amount of time it took to kill him (see below).
However, Blizzard have responded to this, and have warned anyone thinking to try the same tactic:
This topic is the result of a known issue in the game mechanics.
Use of this issue in this fashion is considered an exploit and I strongly discourage you from using it in order to avoid any repercussions on your account.
Rest assured that issues such as this will be resolved in order to remove the temptation. :)In other words - get caught doing this and you're in trouble. We imagine this will be resolved in the next patch, which should be sometime in the next couple of weeks.
