Analogkid on the US WoW forums posted a question about the Shaman Talent Earth Shield a while ago.
I am sure you have read many concerns about Earth Shield, specifically the ability of a majority of classes being able to dispel it. My question to you is, are the developers even looking into this proposed "issue"? (quotes noting that it is not necessarily an issue but a major PvP inconvenience)

Eyonix replied, at first giving some hope that we might see some changes in patch 2.3:
"We're certainly aware of the concerns, and beyond that feel that the earth shield is in need of some love. We're not sure this will happen in 2.3, and I'll do my best to keep you posted."

"Anything is possible, just manage your expectations because improvements to earth shield may very not hit patch 2.3. :)"

but today, he posted a reply that dashed any hoped that we might see it in the next patch:
"...We're likely not going to change earthshield for patch 2.3. Right now we're interested in testing and properly balancing the changes we've already made.

There have been some cool ideas mentioned. :)"
