No, not fan fiction - they're after touching happy tales of friendship and union:

Do you have inspirational stories about the people you've met or the personal connections you've made in World of Warcraft? Submit them for consideration in our new series - a selection will be featured on our website. For more information, check out the stories page.

If you follow the link to the stories page, you will see that Blizzard are after stories of people who have met through WoW, made friends for life, found old friends they hadn't seen for years, or perhaps met their partner. If the story is particularly outstanding, it will be featured on the Official WoW site.
